Our regular services are:

Sundays

8:30 Quiet Parish Eucharist in the Lady Chapel


This 30 minute Common Worship Communion service is a smaller, quieter service in the lady chapel. There are no hymns, but follows all the seasonal services of St Giles. 

On the third Sunday of month, Healing Ministry is offered.


10:30 am Sung Parish Eucharist


This service is a Common Worship Eucharist with hymns, a sermon or talk in the main church. It is followed by refreshments; to which all are welcome to stay.


On the first Sunday of the month, baptisms take place during this service.

On the third Sunday of the month, the ministry of healing is offered, by trained members of the congregation, to those who wish to ask for God's healing for them.

On the fourth Sunday of the month, the Hundred Club Draw is held.


Wednesdays

10:00 am Mid-Week Eucharist


A 30 minute Common Worship Communion Service in the Lady Chapel (in winter) or in the main church (in summer).

It often celebrates a special saint or topical cause for our prayers.

Fridays

10:00 am Friday Prayers


A live-streamed service of Morning Prayer, using either Celtic Morning Prayer from the Northumbria Community

or BCP Morning Prayer.

In the summer, we also do a prayer walks around the local area. These are announced on Facebook.

Using the readings for the coming Sunday and seasonal prayers,

submitted prayer requests and prayers for the streets in the parish over the year.
