St Giles, Aintree

in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool

At St Giles' we have a congregation of all ages.

St. Giles' church is the focus of worship but the work of the church reaches out throughout the parish

through pastoral care, providing services in homes, spiritual support, and enjoying each other’s company.

St Giles' is a Church of England church in the Diocese of Liverpool.

The current church building was built in the mid 1950's and was consecrated in 1956

and provides an open space for worship.

Our regular Sunday services are:

8:30 am Said Eucharist

10:30 am Parish Eucharist

Wednesday

10:00 am Quiet Communion

Friday

10:00 am Friday Prayers

(Prayer Request book by St Peter's Chapel; Prayer Request Box outside church too)

We have a hearing loop, provide large print books, wheelchair/disabled access and have baby changing facilities.

As well as the altar and nave, the Church building also contains the St Peter Chapel, the Lady Chapel, the Vestry, a Godly Play Room, and a “kids’ corner”.  We are also a Breastfeeding Friendly Church.

In 2025, we received a small grant towards improving the accessibility of our church;

and are implementing this throughout the year.

We offer gluten free bread on request for communion

and many opportunities throughout the year to meet and socialise together.

We would love to see you!
