As part of our fund raising and charity commitment for 2006, the PCC of S Giles has decided to support the Woodlands Hospice new building project this year. At the June meeting of the PCC it was decided to donate £1,000 from our capital budget and to hold a Bottled Beer Festival and a Festival of Flowers in July, with all proceeds going to Woodlands. A total of £500 was raised for the Woodlands at our Flower Festival.

In December we will be holding a Christmass Tree Festival to raise more funds for Woodlands. It is hoped that as many people as possible will support us in our efforts for this worthy cause.
